“We are excited to say we doubled the funds raised from last year for the American Red Cross,” said Andy Kaye, Co-Owner, of Recoveron Restoration. “When we started the tailgates the main objective was to raise funds for American Red Cross and increase awareness of the needs of our community and we are excited to see it working,” said Kaye.

Andy, his staff and their friends and family put on a free tailgate party for the community at six home games this Packers season. Guests were treated to brat, burgers and refreshments for a donation to the Red Cross.

“I am so thankful to the Recoveron staff and their families to make this event even bigger this year to support the Red Cross financially and create an awareness of the needs,” said Kaye. “You can count on us to do it again next year.”

Recoveron Hosts Tailgate Parties to Benefit American Red Cross Lakeland Chapter

Packers fans can now have their brats and help out a good cause at the same time!  Recoveron Restoration Services is hosting a number of Packers pre-game tailgate parties to raise funds for the American Red Cross Lakeland Chapter.  To date, Recoveron’s tailgate parties have raised more than $1,000, with two more tailgates to take place before the football season ends.

“On a regular basis, we see firsthand the good work done by the Red Cross,” said Andy Kaye, president of Recoveron. “As a local restoration company, we work with individuals, families and businesses that have just experienced a significant disaster in their lives, including fires and floods.  These tailgate parties will raise money to help the Red Cross continue to provide much needed services.”

“We appreciate the support from businesses like Recoveron to help deliver the mission of the Red Cross,” said Steve Maricque, executive director for the American Red Cross, Lakeland Chapter.  “It’s a great idea to combine a tailgate party with a fundraiser – it really makes for a festive atmosphere.”

Two tailgate parties are scheduled for upcoming home games:

    •  Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. A special appearance by Bent Grass, a local blue grass band, will also take place during the tailgate.
    • Sunday December 5, 2010 at 9:00 a.m.

Entry to the tailgate parties is free, with food and beverages for sale. All tailgate parties take place at
