Merrill Middle School Participates in Holiday Mail for Heroes Campaign

The Merrill Middle School student council participated in the American Red Cross’s Holiday Mail For Heroes campaign.  They engaged the middle school student body and collected over 400 cards for our troops.  These students created so many beautiful cards.  Those who weren’t as artistic wrote some very thoughtful heartfelt notes on pre-made cards.  The students made these cards during their lunches, free time, and at home. 

With so many misconceptions about today’s youth, this is just one of the many positive things that the public school students are doing. There are many understanding and caring students. I cannot express how proud I am of all of them.
