American Red Cross Lakeland Chapter Receives $5,000 gift from The Grainger Foundation for Heroes Campaign

The American Red Cross Lakeland Chapter is honored to be presented with a $5,000 gift from The Grainger Foundation, based upon a recommendation from the local Grainger Branch Manager, Greg Schwister, for the Heroes Campaign. “Heroes for the American Red Cross” is a grassroots campaign where local businesses, school groups, church groups, civic clubs, and individuals pledge to raise $1,000 for support of their local Red Cross Chapter.

“Grainger’s support has been wonderful,” said Steve Maricque, Executive Director, American Red Cross Lakeland Chapter. “Their recent gifts to the Lakeland Chapter have enabled us to build our capacity to respond to disasters in the communities we serve.”

“Grainger is proud to support the American Red Cross Lakeland Chapter,” said Greg Schwister, Branch Manager of Grainger in Green Bay. “The Heroes Campaign was a tremendous opportunity for us to continue to be involved in our community.”

To conclude the Heroes’ campaign, all Heroes will be invited to a thank you recognition event and concert featuring live music by Rob Anthony at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton on Wednesday, April 15.
